Personnel Committee*** Mission Statement
Working with the Pastor/Head of Staff, the mission of the Personnel Committee is to assure the adequacy of personnel and personnel administration for the church. The committee will:
- Form and interpret personnel policies, including Equal Employment Opportunities
- Assist in establishing position descriptions and work responsibilities for each position
- Recommend terms of call for pastors, terms of employment for non-ordained staff and review salary actions
- Evaluate effectiveness of policies and personnel
- Serve as a confidential support for Pastor/Head of Staff

Mission and Outreach Committee Mission Statement
The charge of the Mission and Outreach Committee is to demonstrateGod's love and compssion, to enrich the lives of people in need and to encourage social justice and peacemaking through education. We will lead the congregations's ministry of hospitality to visitors and to welcome new members into the church body.

Stewardship and Finance Committee Mission Statement
The mission of the Stewardship and Finance Committee is oversight of the raising, management and use of funds for the financial support of Northminster's programs and missions. The commitee will fulfill is mission by:

1) Encouragement of financial stewardship and generosity of members through:
- Year-round stewardship ephasis
- Annual stewardship campaigns
- Financial reports to the congregation
- Promotion of wills and other planned giving
2) Wise stewardship of the church's financial assets through:
- Sound accounting procedures and practices
- Regular review of financial statements
- Oversight of Northminster's financial assets

The mission of the Property Committee is to maintain and rehabilitate the real property of the chruch: the building, the grounds and parking lot and yard. The committee recognizes that the church building is a place of worship and an architectural treasure. It will strive to pass in on to the next generation in as good or better condition than it was received. Therefore, all repairs, additions and renovations will be of the highest available quality, while at the same time being cost effective.

Worship at Northminster Presbyterian is guided by our Directory of Worship (Book of Order) and led by our Pastor and Staff. The Mission of the Music and Worship Committee is to plan, evaluate and encourage Sunday worship, special worship, weddings and funerals. The committee will also oversee the church's music ministry
